Abstract
Objective: To evaluate tensile bond strength of machinable ceramics bonded to dentin using pre-heated and flowable resin composites compared to self-adhesive resin cement. Materials and methods: Thirty mid-coronal dentin surfaces were assigned into 3 equal groups (n=10) according to luting agent: pre-heated resin composite, flowable composite and self-adhesive resin cement. Zirconia overlays were fabricated and cemented to the dentin surfaces. After storing in water for 24 hours, each tooth was subjected to the tensile test.
