Mansoura Journal of Dentistry

Mansoura Journal of Dentistry (MJD) is the official publication of the Faculty of Dentistry – Mansoura University, Egypt.

The Faculty of Dentistry was established by the decree (No. 134, Year 1973) based on an agreement between the Vice President of Mansoura University, and the Minister of Culture and Information. Study started at the Faculty of Dentistry in the academic year 1977/1978 and the first class graduated in 1981/1982. The University Council of Postgraduate Studies and Research decided on January 27, 1981, to commence postgraduate studies in the Faculty of Dentistry for the academic year 1981/1982.

The vision of the postgraduate Studies and research sector at the Faculty of Dentistry – Mansoura University aspires to international recognition in the fields of education and scientific research. Several strategic goals were crafted to achieve its vision by focusing on the quality of the research, and the ethics of publication, and to make Mansoura Journal of Dentistry indexed and ranked by recognized international databases.
